I've recently started playing Guildwars on my laptop (Windows Vista). When I played on my old computer, I used to press left-ctrl+space to denote the target I am attacking (As it would say in the chat box, "Player: I am attacking ---"). However, for some reason, when I press left-ctrl+space on my laptop, it changes my font in the chat box (the language changes from English to Chinese) rather then focusing on the target.

Another odd problem is everytime I close Guildwars, Windows Media Center automatically loads.

Well, I don't know why the font keeps changing - obviously a hot key that you may need to disable or find out where is coming from.

As for Windows Media Center, go to your Guild Wars Icon, right click it, go to ''Properties'' and remove the -MCE command from the target.

Second problem is easy: Right-click on GW shortcut (or edit the properties of the GW icon in the Games meta-folder) and in the target box, remove the -mce at the very end.

I'm monolingual, so I can't remember the fix for the language swap options.

Well, on my computers I have to set them up to use multiple language inputs, but I switch via ALT + Shift.

To do this, or find out if you have other language inputs go to Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options, go over to the ''Keyboard and Inputs'' tab (on Vista) or for XP you go to the ''Languages'' tab.

Next, hit on ''Change Keyboards'' for Vista, or ''Details'' for XP and you will see what inputs you have, and if you go to ''key settings'' you can change what hot keys activate what thing.
